It flips the whole vibe.
You’re not “getting through the airport” — you’re already in holiday mode posting airport pint pics in Whatsapp groups.

No taxis or dodgy cars stressing you out. No wondering if the train’s going to be delayed. No last-minute drama.
You wake up… and you’re basically at the airport.
Some hotels are literally a short walk to the terminal. Or connected.

For us, it’s not something we do every single time.
But for a long-haul trip you’ve been waiting ages for… it’s a no-brainer.
Miss a flight to somewhere like Amsterdam? Annoying, yeah — but there’s another one round the corner.
Miss your flight to Mexico? You’re losing at least a day of your holiday… if not more.
And that’s not a risk we’re willing to take.
But when it makes sense… it really makes sense.
It’s one of those things where once you’ve had a smooth, stress-free start to a trip, going back to the 3am scramble just feels a bit grim.
